Stoichiometry

 

 

Unit Overview

For students to learn the process and understand stoichiometry. They will understand how mole ratio relates to chemical equations. The students will be able to balance a chemical equation and then use the balanced equations to find amounts of certain chemical compounds. 

 

 

Personal Achievement

Since the beginning of the unit I was able to understand how to change moles into grams and grams into moles and everything else very well. 

 

 

Enduring Understanding

Stoichiometry is the relationship between the relative quantities of substances taking part in a reaction or forming a compound, typically a ratio of whole integers.

 

Reflection on Progress Towards the Standards

Since the beginning of the unit I was able to understand how to change moles into grams and grams into moles and everything else very well. 

 

Area(s) for Improvement

Sometimes I forgot to multiply the numbers on each row, so I would get the wrong answer even though I had done everything else right.
